Lynn Paulson, Fargo, is senior vice president and director of agribusiness development for Bell Bank. Paulson’s experience in banking and financial operations includes starting Citizens State Bank and later merging four banks and three holding companies into Choice Financial.

Financing farm operations and businesses for most of his life and having operated and still owning a family farm in Benson County, N.D. A North Dakota State University graduate, Paulson teaches and speaks regularly at state and regional banking schools, association meetings, commodity group conferences and other events. He also appears regularly on various television, radio and print media to discuss agricultural economic issues, and he writes AgViews – a national award-winning newsletter that offers the latest ag news, trends, tips and expert insight. Paulson was recently chosen to be an inaugural member of the newly formed National Senior Ag Lender Consortium, comprised of 12 senior ag lenders from across the U.S.

An active community volunteer, Paulson is also a past member of the North Dakota Bankers Board of Directors and Legislative Committee, a past member of the American Bankers Association Rural Ag Bankers Committee, and a past Noridian Mutual Insurance Company board member. Paulson joined the Board in 2022.
