Kathy Anderson, M.D.
Dr. Kathy Anderson MD is a double board-certified general pediatrician and integrative medicine physician. She is founder and CEO of Nurturing Wellness Pediatrics, a hybrid, in-person and telemedicine practice. Dr. Anderson has been caring for patients in North Dakota (N.D.) for over 10 years having been chair of pediatrics at Mid Dakota Clinic and serving on the Medical Executive Committee at St. Alexius Medical Center.
She has served on the board of the N.D. chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics since 2011, president since 2019. Dr. Anderson is the Regional Champion of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion for the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also clinical assistant professor in pediatrics at the University of North Dakota.
Dr. Anderson completed her undergraduate and medical studies at Brown University, obtaining residency training in Pediatrics through the University of Hawaii. She completed her fellowship in Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona.
Throughout her career, Dr. Anderson has been committed to the responsibility of serving as an expert in child health and wellness through education, advocacy, and clinical care. Dr. Anderson joined the Board in 2022.
